Delivery Delay Alert

A recurring check scans your shipment log for anything delayed or past its expected delivery date, proactively emails the customer, and alerts your team — so you're the one telling customers about a delay, not the other way around.

Automation flow

How it works

  1. 1Every 2 hours, the shipments log is scanned.
  2. 2Anything explicitly marked "Delayed" or past its expected delivery date (and not yet delivered) is flagged, skipping ones already alerted.
  3. 3The customer gets a proactive, empathetic delay notice.
  4. 4Your team gets a Slack alert to investigate or intervene if needed.
